Arrange 12 inch long pieces of wood for armoire jewelry box so that they are parallel and horizontal in line with you. Slide 8-inch long pieces vertically between the horizontal pieces. The vertical pieces should be at each end and form a rectangular shape. Glue the pieces together and clamp them to allow them to dry. Place 9-1 / 2-inch with 12-inch piece of wood on a table and place the rectangular frame so that all sides are aligned. Glue the pieces together.

Sand inside and outside of the box, as well as armoire jewelry box cover. Finish the box and cover with a bite or paint. Allow the finish to dry completely before finishing construction. Attach a pair of edge iron along the long side of the box that will be back. Attach the top of the edge iron to a long side jewelry box cover. The decorative edge of the lid should be facing upwards.
